Kudos to you - before the conference I was frustrated, stressed and anxious.   I had spent many days reading and working on learning more about leadership and such BUT I didn't realize until the day after your workshop that I had allowed my stressors and frustrations and such to get to me to the point that I had stopped working on the leader within me.  The conference and more specifically your workshop, reawakened the leader within me that I had previously spent so much time and positive energy developing.  So thank you for that!  My leadership spirit is AWAKE and hungrier than ever....

I look forward to hearing more!

I just wanted to thank you for all that you did for not just myself, but our Corrections Division.  You have motivated me to where I need to go, and what I need to do.  I have been a Corrections Officer for 20 years.  I am sad to say I had lost the "Hungry Spirit".  I have it back!!   I am a better person today than I was before I had the great privelage of meeting you.  I am in the process of taking my career to the next level and I feel ready to make a difference.  I "fell back" last year and embarked on my own pity party, what a mistake.  I just wanted to thank you. Take care and have a great day.

Dear Mr. Walter, This is Mannu Sandhu from the CO conference (VIRCC) which was held on the 4th until the 6th. I am not sure if you will remember who this is but I did get a chance to speak with you during lunch hour while you were having lunch with Mr. Peterson and Mr. Haaksma. I would like to thank you for spending the entire day with our team and giving us the opportunity to hear some of your positive stories. Being a motivational speaker is an art that not very many people have. It's so inspiring to see when someone that can't relate to the work environment but still make you feel good about your job. I will be moving to the mainland (Surrey Pre-trial soon) and would certainly like to sit down with you for an hour or so. Thanks again and good luck with your next book.

Dear Ryan, I was really impressed with your deliverance of "Inspiring the Hungry Spirit" at the Correctional Officers Training session on March 5th. I haven't been listened to many conversations that have left me questioning why I do what I do. I was on the verge of leaving Corrections until after this past week. I am still not totally happy with my current employment but have a little more tolerance for the process now of how my centre works and is striving for.

Hi Ryan I was recently at one of the Corrections conferences where you were a speaker. First of all I would like to thank you for your time, I have to say as a no hockey guy I was a bit skeptical at first but everything you said I feel I can apply from work to coaching football to the relationship I have with my wife and 4 kids.

Secondly during your talks with us you mentioned the idea of developing your program to be delivered to inmates. I think this is an awesome idea, I have always said that if someone could teach them to channel their creative ideas from making weapons and committing crime to becoming a contributing member of society you could really make a difference. I think a program like yours broken into small sessions for the inmates would be great to help them start on that path. I am not sure if you are working on that and if you have someone in corrections that is a contact for you, I am currently working in the core programs department of North Fraser Pre-Trial and would love the opportunity to be that contact for you to help you develop a program for the inmates.

After your session with us I was able to get myself back on the path I started in corrections for in the first place and that is to make a difference and for that I again would like to thank you. I have always tried to have fun in what I do at work now I am having fun with a purpose.

In closing I would like to thank you for coming to Harrison hot springs and sharing your valuable time with us.

I would like to thank you for the changes you have made in my life that are going to make me a better husband, father and coach.

I would also like to take the time to thank you in advance for reading this email and hope that I can be of some help to you with a program for the inmates.
